RISING ARTISTS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Art Camp 504 provides high-quality art education to young artists in New Orleans, regardless of income level. Please thoroughly review our FAMILY HANDBOOK to learn more about our program.

Our scholarship tiers are based on the honor system - we ask you to request the amount you need to attend. Our largest scholarships ($50/week) are reserved for students with the most financial need. Awards are allocated first come, first serve.

Scholarship students are welcome to attend before and aftercare (8:00-8:30, 3:30-5:30) for no additional fee. 

BEHAVIOR AND ATTENDANCE: We have high behavior expectations for our students. Disruptive behavior may result in dismissal from the program.

  • We expect scholarship students to attend camp every day. Students with excessive absences or tardiness will not be considered for future scholarships.

RETURNING STUDENTS:

Must complete the online application for every session you want to attend (after school, holiday, summer camp). As a returning student, you do not need to complete the writing portion or upload documentation.

We offer sliding-scale discounts for families who do not meet the income requirements for our scholarship program. No application is required to use these discount codes.

How to Apply:

  1. Complete the Online Application

    • Click HERE to complete the application

    • During the application process, you will select your preferred classes or camps

  2. Submit Income Verification (New applicants ONLY)

    • At the end of the application, upload ONE or more of the following documents:

      • Proof of Medicaid (including dependents).

      • SNAP or EBT documentation (including dependents).

      • Most recent tax return

      • Last three months of pay stubs

    • If you have technical issues uploading documents, email them to community@artcamp504.org

  3. Scholarship Award Notification

    • You will be notified your award via email, with one week to enroll using your discount code.
