RISING ARTISTS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Art Camp 504’s mission is to provide high quality art education for passionate young artists in New Orleans. Our Rising Artists Scholarship Program provides financial aid based on annual income for students ages 8 - 14. Information listed on the scholarship application is strictly confidential. 

ABOUT OUR SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM:

• Students ages 8+ may apply for scholarship funding. We require a non-refundable registration deposit of $10/day. This deposit covers our materials fee of $50/week.

• We review applications in the order in which they were received. We will contact you within one week if a spot is available in your selected class.

• If no spots are available, we will add you to the waitlist.

• Our largest scholarships, 50% - 75% discounts, are reserved for students that demonstrate the most financial need. We ask that you request only the percent you need to attend - our funding is limited and we serve many families in need.

• We offer discounts of up to 25% for families that don’t qualify for the scholarship program, but still need extra assistance. Contact us for more information.

• We have high behavior expectations for our students. Students with disruptive behavior or excessive absences will not be considered for future scholarships. We are looking for students excited to make amazing art!

NEW STUDENTS - HOW TO APPLY:

• Complete the online application by using the google form below

• Upload the following supporting documents via the application form

  • Income Verification - Options include:

    • Proof of Medicaid - including dependents

    • SNAP or EBT including dependents

    • 2022 taxes or 2021 taxes and the last three months of pay stubs

  • Student Work Sample:

    • Can be a drawing, painting, photograph of a sculpture, writing sample, anything creative

    • The goal is to see that your student is excited about making art!

• If you are awarded a scholarship, you will receive an email with a one time use discount code for the class.

REPEAT SCHOLARSHIP STUDENTS:

If you are a repeat scholarship student and have already sent in your documents, you do not need to upload them again. Fill out the application below, write what classes you are interested in, and check the box that says you are a repeat student.
